Cotton is processed with coiling, wringing methods and given suppleness and elasticity. Some of the design and coloring procedures are conducted prior to weaving using natural root dyes and chemical recyclable materials.

Years ago, weaving used to be done using handlooms and producing a narrow 40-cm. wide cloth. Due to the increase in demand and product variety, these Şile fabrics that were once hand-woven and helped many villages to develop, are now woven in modern looms using high technology with GvS fashion quality.

After weaving, Şile fabrics and other special cotton fabrics are washed, bleached, softened to achieve the purest form of the fabric.

Şile fabric’s surface has a unique design similar to winding roads. As naturally washed fabrics preserve the raw color, the clothes with their simplicity reflect all the colors of the person who’s wearing them.

Fabric colors are created with the authentic color of Şile fabric and using trendy colors. Şile fabric, with no identity problem, doesn’t give up classical colors, either. GvS fashion team determines export colors using Pantone Textile Color Catalogue according to their customers’ requirements.

With their gauzy structure, Şile fabrics and other special fabrics manufactured by GvS fashion allow the body to breathe. As the body doesn’t lose contact with air, it is healthier and fresh. In design stage, GvS fashion stylists interpret the clothes combining new fashion trends and old Turkish fashion styles, colors and designs. In the modeling stage, designs are patterned and cut according to age and size. Sewing, hand prints with wooden patterns, brush painting, batik, hand embroidery and stone washing are the next stages.
